MilitarySuper’s Chairperson appointed to ARIA Board
On 22 December 2009 the Minister for Finance and Deregulation, the Hon Lindsay Tanner, announced the appointment of Mr Tony Hyams as the Chairperson of the Australian Reward Investment Alliance (ARIA). ARIA is the trustee of the Australian Government’s main civilian superannuation schemes (CSS, PSS and PSSAP).
Mr Hyams is also the Chairperson of the Military Superannuation and Benefits Board of Trustees (MilitarySuper).
The Minister advised that it is the Government’s intention that Mr Hyams serve as the inaugural Chairman of the new single board to be formed by the merger of the DFRDB Authority, ARIA, MilitarySuper from 1 July 2010.
