Request an estimate

The Customer Service Centre is able to provide an estimate of your benefit. Estimates may also be obtained online from the i-Estimator.

If you intend leaving the services within the next twelve months it is recommended that you call the Customer Service Centre on 1300 001 677 and ask for a written estimate of your DFRDB Benefits.

Information you need to get an estimate from the Customer Service Centre.

  • Service Number
  • Service
  • Full name
  • Date of Birth
  • How much eligible service you have
  • Proposed date of retirement
  • Your return address

Information you need to get an estimate from the i-Estimator

To access the i-Estimator  you will need to apply for an Access Number. Please ring the DFRDB Customer Service Centre on 1300 001 677 and a Customer Service Representative will provide you with an Access Number over the telephone. Alternatively, complete the Access number request/update contact details/online preferences (PDF ) form to apply for an Access Numbers. Please note Access Numbers can only be returned by post. No Access Numbers will be sent by fax or email.
